Pierangelo Metrangolo has been appointed as Co-editor of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) journal Acta Crystallographica B (http://journals.iucr.org/b/). He is also member of the Editorial Board of the Royal Society of Chemistry journal, CrystEngComm (since 2013), and member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the American Chemical Society journal, Crystal Growth and Design (since 2014).
1st International Symposium on Halogen Bonding (ISXB-1) was held in Porto Cesareo (Lecce, Italy) on 18-22 June 2014. The conference was a great success with 182 participants from 27 different countries. 
Professor Pierangelo Metrangolo will speak on 8th April 2014 at the Workshop "IUPAC Italia: stato dell'arte e strategie future" that will be held at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Aula Marconi, Rome, Italy.
Prof. Pierangelo Metrangolo gave a seminar on February 26th, 2014 at the University of Trieste, Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science, as part of the PhD school in Chemistry.
