The event, organized by the ERCEA Grant Management Department, hosted high level personalities including Italian Minister of Education, University and Research Maria Chiara Carrozza and ERC President Helga Nowotny. The current situation and the future of excellent research in Italy and in Europe was widely discussed and during a networking session open to general public and press Prof. Pierangelo Metrangolo had the opportunity to present and discuss his ERC project with peers, journalists and citizens.
